Skateboarding is growing in popularity that hasn’t been seen since the 1980s – and it’s something that we as a community should support. In a day when technology makes our lives easier, it also makes it easy to stay inside. That means no exercise. The skateboarding community is one group that bucks this new trend.
Our local park provides a place for our community’s young and old alike to get that much needed exercise. The problem is that it’s just too small for this popular sport. That’s where you come in!

To get this park addition built, we will need to rely heavily on donations from individuals, businesses and corporations. This doesn’t just mean money. This project has many steps and needs many materials to be built. While money is great, donation of time, materials and labor can go just as far.

Our Sun Prairie Skate Park Committee is made up a group of community members that are donating their time and talents to helping this project move forward.
